help center — Getting started

Your first booking, start to finish

What happens when a customer texts: the conversation, the job, and your queue.

Here's the whole loop for a real job, from the first text to the booked slot — and where you can step in at any point.

The conversation

A customer texts "my water heater is leaking." The assistant replies in seconds: it asks what it needs (address, access, urgency), answers questions from your services and rates, and offers times that fit your calendar and working hours.

The booking

For jobs that need structured details, the assistant sends a prefilled booking link — the customer confirms their address and picks a slot in their browser, no app or account needed. The job is created with who, where, what, and when.

Your queue

  • The job appears in your Queue and on your connected calendar.
  • You get a new-job notification by text (and email, if you want — see Notification preferences).
  • Open the conversation any time to read exactly what was said — the full transcript is always there.

Note: When the work is done, the invoice is already drafted — see How invoices work.
