help center — Getting started
Set up your account
Business info, your Ten Four number, and connecting payments — the 10-minute setup.
Setup is one pass through Settings and takes about ten minutes. The assistant uses what you enter to answer customers accurately, so the more real detail you give it, the less it has to ask you later.
The checklist
- Business basics. Your business name, trade, and service area — this is how the assistant introduces you and decides which jobs are in range.
- Your number. Your dedicated Ten Four number is issued at signup. Put it on your website, van, and voicemail. You can also keep an existing number.
- Services and rates. List your standard services with prices. The assistant quotes only from what you enter — it never invents a price.
- Hours and calendar. Set working hours and connect Google or Apple Calendar so bookings land where you already look.
- Payments. Connect Stripe so invoices carry a tap-to-pay link. Payouts land in your bank, typically the next business day.
Tell the assistant about your business
Anything a good receptionist should know — gate codes you always ask for, the brands you service, that you don't do commercial work — goes in your business notes. The assistant reads them before every conversation.
Note: Next: Your first booking, start to finish.
